Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains how Core Concept Lab handles information when you browse the site, create an account, use optional tools, or contact us.
1. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly when you register, subscribe, contact us, leave feedback, or submit a rating. This may include your name, email address, account details, feedback, and subscription preferences. When you use account features, we also process learning activity such as completed concepts, completed technologies, saved likes, and quiz progress.
Our services and providers may also receive technical information such as the page URL, browser and device information, IP address, referring page, and interaction data. This information is generated when a browser requests pages, analytics, or advertising services.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, provide progress tracking and optional features, respond to enquiries, send requested subscription communications, maintain site security, diagnose errors, measure site usage, and improve the content and usability of Core Concept Lab. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.
3. Accounts and local storage
After sign-in, the site stores authentication and session-related information in your browser's local storage so that account features can work. The site may also store interface preferences, such as a selected technology or a profile-completion notice. You can clear local storage through your browser; doing so may sign you out or reset these preferences.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Core Concept Lab uses a cookie to remember the choice made in the site's cookie notice. We also use Google services, including Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to measure advertising, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and—where permitted—personalise ads based on visits to this or other websites.
You can manage Google ad personalisation through Google's Ad Center, or use the opt-out choices offered by YourAdChoices. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies, although some site features may then work differently.
5. Third-party links and services
The site may link to job listings, employers, application pages, social platforms, references, and other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before sharing information or applying for a role through an external link.
6. Data sharing and retention
We share information only as needed to provide the site and its services, including with service providers that host, analyse, secure, or support the site, and with advertising providers that serve ads. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service. We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, and you may unsubscribe from marketing messages. To make a request, email info@coreconceptlab.com from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your request before responding.
8. Children
Core Concept Lab is intended for a general developer-learning audience and is not directed to children under 13. Do not provide personal information through the site if you are under 13 without a parent or guardian's involvement.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site or applicable requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact info@coreconceptlab.com.
